Sweet Summertime, Splash! Watermelon themed Mini Session

There’s nothing quite like summer sunshine, sticky fingers, and the sweet smell of watermelon in the air 🍉☀️—and this mini session had it all!

This little 10-month-old stole the show with her big red bow and even bigger personality. Set in the great outdoors, but in the comfort of her own front yard, we kept things simple and playful: a large, galvanized tub filled with cool water, floating slices of watermelon, and one curious, splash-happy baby.

She splashed, giggled, and nibbled on juicy watermelon bites while the golden sun lit up every detail—those rosy cheeks, chubby little fingers, and sparkly eyes full of wonder. It was the kind of session that reminds me why I love capturing life’s littlest moments: unscripted, joyful, and real.
